By creating an account or using BeerShelf ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

• You are responsible for any content you upload, post, or share on BeerShelf.
• Do not upload illegal, offensive, or copyrighted material you do not have rights to.
• BeerShelf reserves the right to remove any content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these terms, our community guidelines, or applicable laws, or that abuse or misuse the service.

• You retain ownership of any content you upload to BeerShelf.
• By uploading content (such as beer photos, barcodes, brewery country information, or other data), you grant BeerShelf a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive right to store, use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content for purposes related to the operation, improvement, and promotion of the app and its database.
• This includes the right to retain and use uploaded images, barcodes, beer and brewery information, and similar user-contributed content, even if your account is deleted.
• BeerShelf will never sell your personal data (such as your name or email) to third parties. Uploaded content may be used to enhance the database for all users or to ensure the accuracy and completeness of app information.

• BeerShelf follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and stores only necessary personal data. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.

• We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
• While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

• You may delete your account at any time. All personal data associated with your account will be permanently deleted, except where retention is required by law or as otherwise described in these Terms (e.g. rights to uploaded content).

• BeerShelf is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

• BeerShelf is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or availability of the app.
• The app and its services may be suspended or discontinued at any time, without notice.
• If BeerShelf is discontinued, all user data will be deleted in accordance with applicable legal requirements and privacy regulations.

• BeerShelf is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. BeerShelf is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the app or service. Use of the service is at your own risk.

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to BeerShelf at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately.

• BeerShelf may update these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. Significant changes will be notified in-app or by email.

• BeerShelf does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the app or send any information.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be resolved by Swedish courts.
